Jon, Simon, George, Big Stevie, Nick, Josephine, Barney This photo was obviously taken by a professional, sometime around the release of the What Noise album. Simon is in the picture, and Barney, George, and Jo have not yet disappeared. This is all I can tell you about these particular sessions as I wasn't there at the time. BTW: Jon had for a long time enjoyed dressing in various bits of female clothing, and otherwise adorning himself with "objets trouves" (note travel tag in ear). The skirts, etc., were not a signifier of his sexuality, but more an expression of his experimental spirit, and a dislike of boundaries. His girlfriend Katherine also had a very sharp sense of fashion, and I'm sure influenced his choice of clothing.
